Mafia Wars Facebook vs Myspace

Aftger playing the game on both I found that myspace is MUCH faster than Facebook. Add friends and Mafia is very easy (over 50 in 2 hours) and I am strongly thinking of "starting over" with the myspace account.

With the tips given here, I was able to create a much stronger mafia. I know how to get cash early and I won't need it at all later, how to not get robbed by buying the right assets and when to jump job levels based on loot you just picked up.

Do NOT delete your friends, better to filter them into a group which you can basically block from seeing anything.

The more friends you have the more chances to "help your Mafia" you will get and the faster you will grow.

Each hit put out will increase the minimum bounty for the next hit, within a short period of time. The more you use the hitlist, the more expensive it will get.

When you get to the enforcer level you will find there are items you can loot that you will need to complete jobs later. These items can also be stolen from you too.

The best thing to do is as soon as you get them. go and use them. You will find that using them now means they wont get robbed and finding them again is a real pain!

If you want to play the game better you need to have a stronger and larger Mafia. This game will let you win more fights if you buy the butterfly knives being offered.

Buying this will make your fights stronger and you will win more battles, this game is getting more popular by the day so to play the game right and win you need to be a smart player.

Don't fight with people you can beat

Avoid the Hitlist as best as possible. While it might be fun at higher levels, drawing attention to yourself at lower levels is just going to get you killed over and over again by high level players. Stay under the radar as long as you can

Getting started

You need to grow your Mafia but do it smart. You can see http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=143116400332 or other sites to find other players who are eager to grow mafia.

You want to not add too many member too fast.

You MUST buy all the Mafia Mikes you can, it will give you a lot of cash and later in the game you won't need much of it!

You want to add as much energy as you can, this way you can grow faster.

Don't jump around, do a job until you master it and get that bonus point!

TOP MAFIA TIPS :

Assign your best mafia members to positions within your mafia. Each position has a unique bonus which can be greater depending on who gets promoted to that position.

Mastermind – Choose a member with many jobs completed to promote to Mastermind to get more experience points from doing jobs. Your Mastermind gains a small chance of gaining 50% more experience when performing jobs.

Wheelman – Choose a member with the Fearless character type and a high level to promote to Wheelman to get a reduced energy cost for jobs. Your Wheelman gains a small chance to perform jobs for no energy.

Button Man – Choose a member with the Maniac character type and a high level to promote to Button Man to get an Attack bonus. Your Button Man gains a small chance to always win fights they initiate.

Bodyguard – Choose a member with many fights won to promote to Bodyguard to get a Defense bonus. Your Bodyguard gains a small chance to always win fights when they are attacked.

Safecracker – Choose a member with many successful heists to promote to Safecracker to get more money from fighting and robbing. Your Safecracker gains a small chance to gain double the money when fighting or robbing.

Bagman – Choose a member with the Mogul character type and a high level to promote to Bagman to get more money from jobs. Your Bagman gains a small chance to gain double the money when performing jobs.
